Random Stat - Top 10 Scoring Performances v. the Wolves
Permalink

I found this on NBA Reddit, where they listed the Top 10 individual scoring performances AGAINST every team.  Here is the Wolves list:

MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES:

  1. Tony Parker (55)

  2. Shaquille O'Neal (53)

  3. Kobe Bryant (50)

  4. Cedric Ceballos (50)

  5. David Robinson (50)

  6. Kevin Durant (48)

  7. Kevin Martin (48)

  8. Kevin Durant (47)

  9. Hakeem Olajuwon (46)

  10. Steph Curry (46)

I honestly didn't remember the TP9 55 point performance. The only ones I can really remember are the Curry, 1 of the Durant's, and I vaguely remember that D-Rob dropped 50 on us back in the day.

Back in the day Cedric Ceballos was a bad bad man, so that one doesn't surprise me much!

Just be thankful the Twolves weren't around when Wilt was in his prime! :P

I remember the Parker game vividly. Was at Burrito Loco on UMN campus. Double overtime thriller early in the Rambis and Kahn era. Someone find the box score.

Surprise, Foye guarded Parker most of the game.  (Actually in full disclosure Telfair may have guarded him just as much)

Wow, TP had 10 assists too!  And Roger Mason dropped 26?   I'm also stunned that Mike Miller actually took 19 shots.

Well I was wrong, it was during the last few minutes of the Randy Wittman era. I got my awful Wolves coaches confused. But I do recall being at B Loco upstairs and it being a double overtimer!

Man how things have changed. Have we reflected enough on the fact that the Country Club is over?! Holy smokes. I am amped for the season, but Thibs and Layden sure are keeping things quieter than the Target Center crowd during the above season.

Didn't Miller retire after that game?  :P

Here is another game vs. the Spurs that made the list
