Towns - 31 points in 24 minutes!! Whatta stud. I also saw that he got over 50% of the vote in the annual NBA GM survey, to the questions "If you had to start a franchise from scratch, who would you pick #1". F Yeah baby.

You guys know that tRicky and TYUS are my boys, I don't wanna see either one of them traded. And yes I am biased. I wonder what the packages would be for these guys? My guess is that TYUS wouldn't get much. Maybe after Summer League is stock is high though, I dunno. Either way, I think that both of these guys are WINNERS first and foremost. Competitors, extremely smart players, and fantastic guys to run a team and play the pure point guard role. I haven't seen anything from Dunn yet, so I'm totally neutral on him right now.

Why did ShaBeast and Wiggins sit? Can we come up with a good nickname for Andrew this year? I guess Air Canada is ok for now.

Sounds like it was a very encouraging game. I DVR'd but was too caught up in my own basketball playing, and then watching the debate on DVR latenight. Maybe I'll peep it tonight. Anyone watch it and have additional commentary? It's always appreciated.

I think both ShaBEAST and Air Canada were sick? Something like that. They are fine.

I agree Bonk, trading Tyus is unlikely to bring in a useful player in return. Might have to package him with ShaBEAST (ain't likely) or Lavine (Ain't happening).

It's almost time for Wolves and NBA predictions. Lavine's play in the preseason, including this renewed and surprising understanding of defense, could be the difference. I've gone from pessimistic to cautiously hopeful about Lavine! Baby steps for a Lavine hater.

Speaking of Tyus: 2 scenarios seems to be talked right now:

1. With the Cavs: for Iman Shumpert (motivated also by the Tax situation of the Cavs)

2. With Phily. What would be a package, that would be o.k. for you guys? Something with Noel f.e.?

Wow, Tyus Jones could get the Wolves a real wing rotation player (Shumpert) or a legit aspiring-to-be-Tyson Chandler-big-man (Noel)? I doubt it. I'd take either!

How about fycking cut John Lucas and sign some random guy who has been waived. John Lucas...The f uck Thibs?

I made the following bets on my sportsbook to the 2016-17 regular season:

Big KAT Over 20.5 ppg.

Lavine Over 14.5 ppg.

Dunn Under 5.5 apg.

They have the Over Under on Wiggins PPG at 22, which I thought was high, but I don't want to bet against him. They also had numbers for Dieng (can't remember) and tRicky (10.5 ppg, 9 apg).  I bet against Dunn APG simply due to playing time and tRicky also being here.

Good bets. I cannot see a way that Dunn averages even more than 3 or 4 assists. 5.5 is very unrealistic for a dude that is probably going to playing 20 minutes a game and maybe off the ball some.

Did you take the over or under on Payne playing 30 secs a game?

If LaVine averages less than 16 ppg I will be surprised and disappointed. He can drop close to 20 with his eyes closed if he hustles even a little bit.

Shocked by how low Towns' over/under is. I would put that number at 23.5 and then I'd be plenty tempted to take the over. He's just so good.

I have no idea what to expect out of Wiggins. Similar numbers to last year with better passing and defense would be cool with me unless he emerges as a genuine iso threat.

I really hope Thibs gives Rubio the keys and plays him and Dunn together. It would be fun to see Rubio, Dunn, LaVine, Wiggins, and Towns hoop as a small ball lineup. Rubio and Dunn both board well for guards which is necessary when you go small.
